Review: Cassandra Clare – City of bones

City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)

I finished reading City of Bones by Cassandra Clare last night about 4:00 and I just, I can’t. So many feelings. I won’t spoiler anything, you’ll just have to read the book, but oh. my. god. I did not see THAT coming.

I really liked the book (obviously, or I wouldn’t have finished it in the middle of the night) and I would recommend anyone to read it. It’s a dystopian novel, which is a genre I particularly like and it has action, romance and what not. It’s pretty well written (though I’ve read better) and it’s easy to get through.

I am going to read the next book in the series (city of ashes) and when I’ve read all the books in the series, I will write a more elaborate review on all of them in one post.
